The flash back

Some work I did for DC. I met Mark Chariello (I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) at a British convention, and he immediately hired me to do some stuff.
He asked me to do an iconic image of the Flash for Previews Magazine. If you ever notice on the side an image advertising a new title, at will say something like ‘not actual art’, well what an editor will do is, either supply a section of the interior art to the Previews Magazine designers, or hire someone like me to a create a cool image to help advertise a particular title when they don’t have the final cover art.
The first image is pencilled by me, and inked by James Hodgkins.
